Phoenix hotel information.

The hotel was unable to offer us a group room rate that was any better than the published rack rate on the internet for our hotel, so if you wish to stay at the hotel we are using, you can make your reservations any time on the internet or by phoning general reservations.  This hotel is within WALKING DISTANCE to our venue.

Good morning.

I'm awake and busy getting ready to open Phoenix registrations.  It's a beautiful day!!

PHOENIX....I have good news....

We have a HOME!  The Phoenix workshop will be held April 25-27th in beautiful, historic downtown Chandler (about 20 minutes from the airport).  I have spent countless hours trying to find the perfect venue.  And finally today....as if by magic....I secured THE. PERFECT. PLACE.  It's within walking distance to a hotel and is the coolest, most contemporary space we've hosted in yet.  We'll be spending the weekend smack dab in the middle of an urban photographer's dream! 

Contracts are signed.  Hotel is available.  Phoenix is ready.  Are YOU???

Workshop hours:

Friday, April 25:  mixer, 7 pm - ?

Saturday, April 26:  workshop, 9 am - 6 pm

Sunday, April 27:  workshop, 9 am - 3 pm

Registrations will open Friday morning at 9 am EST.  The countdown to the opening of Phoenix begins.  T minus 36 hours and counting.

I KNOW y'all have been waiting and waiting and waiting so patiently....way more patiently than me even!  I have spent more time on the phone in the last two weeks than when I was in high school and my boyfriend lived across town than I have in a long time.  Seriously.  After all of those calls and some email consultations with my detectives in Phoenix, I now have it narrowed down to three places that would each be PERFECT to house our little group.  I thought I found it last week, but that venue ended up being sold out before I could get secure it.  I *should* be signing contracts today on one of these three fabulous places and I will open registrations just as soon as I do.  I'm just trying to keep you all up to date since I know I've got a bunch of blog stalkers who are anxious.
